Bound 4 You Comics Top FOC Picks 6/23/25: Essential Comic Pre-Orders

Updated: Oct 9, 2025

Welcome to the Final Order Cutoff (FOC) list for this week, dated 6/23/25! FOC represents your final opportunity to pre-order these upcoming comics to ensure you receive a copy!

This Week we have a couple first appearances, new series, and a few great covers. Overall not a crazy FOC. The biggest news is that Dynamite has finally jumped over to Lunar distribution, which pretty makes diamond persona non grata in the comic distribution scene. So glad to see Dynamite and Nick Barrucci find a great landing spot to continue delivering us great content,

Top FOC Speculation Picks:

Hero in red suit runs from giant hands in fiery, chaotic scene. Text: "Absolute Flash," "DC," "All-In." Energetic and intense.

Absolute Flash # 5 Cover A Nick Robles

First appearance of Heatwave in DC's Absolute Universe. DC has been doing great things with series so far and really laying a great foundation for the Absolute Universe. With that said first appearances in alternate universes don't typically pay off when they are exisitng characters in main continuity. However, with how great Absolute and Ultimate has been, I'd recommend grabbing a copy or two.

Comic cover: Two masked figures face off in a shadowy setting. Prominent text reads "Absolute Batman." Dark, intense atmosphere.

Absolute Batman # 10 Cover A Nick Dragotta

First appearance of Absolute Killer Croc, read my opinion on these alternate universes first appearances above. Regardless this issue is a must have regardless as this series has been so great. Right now for me between the "Big Two" the best ongoing titles are: Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Ultimate Spider-Man, and Ultimate X-Men.

Robot figure pulls stretchy mask from a blue-suited figure. Text reads "One World Under Doom." Dark green and blue tones. Marvel logo.

One World Under Doom # 6 Cover A

The Cover on this book makes it a must-have in my opinion but the solicitations also hints at a possible reveal:

Doom’s reign has been a success for months – with even some of the heroes questioning if they’re on the right side.
A final desperate gamble is conceived, and Reed reveals a terrible secret he’s acquired about Doom’s global domination – but will it be
enough? And what has Doom been hiding under that Latverian Dome?
All is revealed – at terrible cost! It’s the beginning of the end for some, and the beginning of a new age for others...
Two figures with lightsabers battle a giant sea creature on rocky waves. Dark sky, intense action. Text: Star Wars Hyperspace Stories #1.

Star Wars Hyperspace Stories: Tides Of Terror # 1 Cover A

Confirmed first appearance of Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb from the clone wars animated show. I don't think this will have massive upside but collecting Star Wars first appearances is never a bad idea.

Multiple Spider-Men in dynamic poses, surrounded by large Spider-Man and Venom faces. Background is green with patterns. "Spider-Verse vs Venomverse" text. Energetic mood.

Spider-Verse Vs. Venomverse # 3 Cover A

Last but not least we have a potential new Spidey or two in this issue. Solicitations states "Two new champions are added to the roster". It is unclear if these are existing characters or first appearances but worth checking out as we have another Spider-Verse movie on the horizon.

Top FOC Cover Buys

Spider-Man crouches, surrounded by web patterns. He wears a red and blue suit. The text "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Marvel" are visible.

Amazing Spider-Man # 8 Gabrielle Dell'otto Variant

Woman in tuxedo and fishnet stockings sits confidently on ornate chair, arch backdrop. Elegant and poised mood.

Zatanna # 6 Homare Variant

A woman in a futuristic outfit poses with a bat perched on her hand against a large, glowing moon. The scene is vibrant and surreal.

Vampirella # 3 Mark Spears

There's a ton of Mark Spears covers on FOC from Dynamite this week, I'm digging the Vampirella Covers.

A blonde woman stands in water, surrounded by colorful, abstract shapes with eyes. She is confident, under a spotlight, with a blue sky.

The Herculoids # 5 Joseph Micheal Linsner

Cartoon shark with big eyes menaces smaller shark against a swirly pastel background. Text: Jeff the Land Shark, with Marvel logo.

Jeff The Landshark # 2 Gurihiru

Well that's it for me this week, Happy hunting!
