When a group of firefighters and police try to restrain Cap, he realizes the destruction being caused and calls for an end to the battle. Cap surrenders and is taken into custody. The fifty state initiative is implemented. The Mighty Avengers are formed. The FF are reunited. Tony becomes the director of SHIELD. Life, indeed, goes on.
